The reverse by Danuta Solowiej-Wedderburn shows trumpets and banners with the inscription ‘1926 VIVAT REGINA 2006’, which translates as ‘Long live the Queen’ sandwiched between her birth year and her 80th birthday year. Technically the coin bears no actual date of its own.
