One commemorative crowns was issued in 2004, to mark the 100th anniversary of the friendly peaceful agreement between Great Britain and France known as the Entente Cordiale.

The story behind the design:

The obverse shows the Ian Rank-Broadley bust of the Queen. The reverse is by David Gentleman and depicts both Britannia and Marianne. The Entente Cordiale was a formal agreement that tidied up the relations between Britain and France since the less formal agreements after the Napoleonic wars in 1815. It also ‘fixed’ a few issues relating to British and French colonies and rights:
